Cleveland Entrepreneur Session: Joi
I love seeing someone living their passion. Joi is an amazingly talented wedding and floral stylist based in Dayton, Ohio, but works with brides all over Northeast Ohio. She traveled all the way to Cleveland for her session with little ol' me. And I'm so happy she did.
You may have seen my post last week on Instagram about props. Joi was the beauty in that post. When done right, props can add an extra element of creativity to a shoot. But you DON'T want to over do it, and they must have meaning to you and your brand. Her use of flowers was perfect. Because she is a floral stylist, it was only fitting. She came to me with the idea of creating a background completely filled with flowers and it came out even more beautiful than I imagined.
Since shooting her photos, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with her on a couple big styled bridal sessions. One session has been published with Munaluchi Bride, and the other will be published in March. (You'll have to stay up to date with me on my Instagram to see when and where it will be published. Eeeee! In my little girl voice) Her work is second to none and I'm looking forward to seeing everything she has in store for 2016. She's already off to an amazing start with the launch of her new website! Go girl.
