Prepare for a New Year: December musings

So, if you're anything like me, it took you a while to start putting the correct date on everything - I have plenty of notes from January and February that have 2014 crossed out, with 2015 written right next to it. Although it may have taken me a while to get it together, I embraced the change. And what do you know, we are going to have to change that 5 to a 6 in just a few short weeks. Again, a change I am most excited for.

Along with embracing the inevitable change to a New Year, my goal is to be prepared. I usually have a lot of downtime in December due to wanting to spend time with family and clients not wanting to shoot in the colder weather. So I take advantage of this extra time. This month I am going to map out what I WANT for 2016. Nothing is out of reach, so my goals will reflect the fearlessness I have to create the year I deserve.

To help me organize my goals, I've found the best thing to do is to write them down. This year I'm doing this with the help of the handy dandy Thrive Journal. I'm pushing through this and not only setting goals, but creating action plans to help me map out the road to achieve them. Not only am I planning for a successful year in business, but also a successful year for my health, happiness, family and other relationships.

How will you prepare for the New Year?
